A tapa made by the Rincón de Capis restaurant in Torrevieja has been the winning proposal in the II Contest for the Best MadeinCV Tapa, which was held at the CdT of València. The winning tapa will participate in The Hague on June 27 in the event ' A five-star gastronomic experience on the occasion of World Tapa Day', which Turisme CV and Conhostur have organized to promote the gastronomy of the Community.

It was precisely the heads of both entities, Francesc Colomer and Manuel Espinar , who presented the award in which eight chefs competed, selected by a professional jury from more than 60 establishments in Valencia and Alicante known for their tapas.

The jury has been chaired by chef Raúl Resino (Raúl Resino Restaurant, 1 Michelin Star), and will include Cristina Figueira (El Xato Restaurant, 1Michelin Star), Rakel Cernicharo (Karak Restaurant), Vanessa Lledó (CdT Teacher and owner of the Mil Grullas restaurant) and Carlos Corredor (Director of the Alicante Gastronomic Guide).

This campaign, framed within the collaboration agreement between Turisme Comunitat Valenciana and Conhostur, aims to promote and develop gastronomic products in the Comunitat.

The regional secretary of Turisme, Francesc Colomer, highlighted that "tapas is the Telegram Number Data artistic expression of Valencian cuisine" and recalled Turisme's commitment to promoting the Gastrotourism Network and the L'Exquisit Mediterrani brand.



Colomer has highlighted "the effort and talent of all those who work to promote gastronomy" and added that "the Tapas contest is a piece of the fundamental story of our collaboration with Conhostur, which is a very powerful ally to deploy governance in our territory".

Two Valencian restaurant proposals are competing for the Hot Concepts Awards. These are the Terrazas de Bonaire and the new Nómada restaurant by Begoña Rodrigo. The third finalist is Madrid's Mercado de Vallehermoso.

In the case of restaurant establishments in shopping centers, the award is contested between Las Terrazas de Bonaire , an innovative restaurant space that brings together the main national and international operators in the sector in Aldaia, along with the local signature cuisine of the hand of Begoña Rodrigo with her restaurant Nómada and the Mercado de Vallehermoso in Madrid, an ecosystem with a long tradition in the capital that has been renewed and brings together 22 stalls of producers, merchants and hoteliers.

The awards will be presented in Madrid on July 4 at a special gala attended by officials from the main organized restaurant chains, hotel catering, communities, the travel segment and the most important suppliers of food, beverages, equipment and machinery, as well as some of the most important brand ambassadors in the sector.
